Food Writing

One type of writing we see a lot in our daily lives is about food: menus, flyers, brochures, advertising, social media posts by restaurants. And sometimes such materials contain spelling mistakes. The first reaction of a reader when they see a misspelled menu is generally one of mistrust towards the venue:

"If they spelled their key dish wrong, can they really cook it right?"

Having a correctly spelled menu builds trust between the customer and the venue, especially when it comes to high-class events and rare delicacies.
